Emergent’s Leader as Coach program empowers leaders to become confident and competent coaches. Not only will they reach their own development goals, but they will gain the skills necessary to coach their colleagues using Emergent’s proven methodology. Leader as Coach participants will bring the benefits of the coach’s mindset back to their organizations.

Leader as Coach is a six-month in-person experience facilitated by Emergent Certified Coaches. Participants will experience over 20 hours of coaching with an Emergent Coach, as well as hands-on coaching practice in individual and group settings. The program also features eight half-day workshops based on four Emergent coaching fundamentals:

  • Consciousness: awareness of yourself and others
  • Context: understanding and adapting to the unique needs of those you coach
  • Connection: creating relationships grounded in trust
  • Content: gaining and sharing knowledge
