Twelve Deep Breaths
For the twelfth day of leadership, we offer you breath. One of the most effective ways to reset and center yourself is by taking a deep breath. Short, shallow breathing causes cortisol to move through the body, adding to stress. Observe high-performing athletes just prior to performing their craft; they take deep, relaxing breaths. On this final day of the 12 Days of Leadership, we challenge you to be a high-performing corporate athlete and take 12 deep breaths five times throughout the day. Say goodbye to stress!
