Two Minutes of Mindfulness
Our second gift is two minutes of mindfulness. Quieting your mind at the beginning of the day creates the space for grace and focus. Strengthening your practice of short spurts of mindfulness will also help you to notice when you get distracted throughout the day and, in turn, help to bring you back to focus more quickly. Give it a try right now – sit comfortably in your chair, back straight and relaxed, set your timer for two minutes, and then softly close your eyes. Just breath deeply, slowly, intentionally until the timer sounds. Enjoy.
