The difference between a good idea and a great leader is the way in which they communicate. But communicating clearly and effectively is not always as obvious and easy as it seems. Ralph and Cindy offer some tips on how to improve your communication skills, thus enhancing your leadership effectiveness.
Great conversation! I think the key to success in effective communication as you two stated is talk less and listening deeper. Establish and confirm a shared understanding and alignment.
Learning as much as possible about your audience; what inspires or what obstacles are getting in the way.
I also loved the example “A good conversation is like a miniskirt. Short enough to retain interest but long enough to cover the subject.” comical but true.
