Conflict as a Catalyst for Change

July 14 @ 8:30 am - 10:00 am
Free

Conflict is often avoided, minimized, or mismanaged, yet it is one of the most powerful drivers of innovation and progress. In this session, leaders will reframe conflict from something to eliminate into something to leverage. Participants will learn how to distinguish productive task conflict from destructive relationship conflict, and how to create the conditions for healthy disagreement within their teams.

Through a simple, practical facilitation model, leaders will practice navigating tension, asking better questions, and guiding conversations toward shared outcomes. This session moves beyond theory and into application, helping leaders address real conflicts they are currently facing.

This session is ideal for leaders and managers who want to address conflict more effectively, improve team dynamics, and turn tension into productive outcomes.

You’ll practice:

  • Facilitating a structured conversation between opposing viewpoints
  • Asking neutral, non-judgmental questions to uncover root issues
  • Reframing conflict into a shared goal and actionable next steps

Leaders will leave with a clear framework to facilitate conflict, language to de-escalate tension, and a defined next step for a conversation they’ve been avoiding.
